Have you ever seen such a thing as a "pillow menu" in a hotel? The options are: Glamorous, Grumpy, Genial, Guilty, Gaily, and plain G (this is Hotel G, after all). I'm going to order a Guilty for tonight ("If you snore a little, this one's made of natural emulsion, with tiny perforations allowing fresh air to circulate, helping you to breathe more easily"). We'll see.
Yesterday was all about getting an idea of where things are in the city -- and lots of walking around the commercial district near Tiananmen Square -- and getting used to the humidity and the smog.
